Reading Together 2011

Grab a copy of the Kalamazoo Public Library's Reading Together book selection for 2011 using the link to the left. This year's selection by the library, Strength in What Remains, gives us the story of one man’s inspiring American journey and of the ordinary people who helped him, providing brilliant testament to the power of second chances. The author, Tracy Kidder, calls this rich tale “an adventure story, a survival story, an immigrant’s story, a story of despair and determination, of evil and kindness.”

Book discussions and a wide variety of special events will take place in March and April of 2011. The author will visit Kalamazoo on March 10. More information can be found at the Reading Together site.
